To make sure you still get to enjoy your holiday beverages while remaining on track, I found a recipe video for a healthy twist on a classic drink… eggnog! Traditional eggnogs can certainly throw your healthy diet out into the cold, but this recipe looks like it will still be filled with the classic flavor without all the guilt!

There are like a million and one diet plans available to you these days. If you’re like me, you’re probably overwhelmed by all of the options.
I believe that when you’ve committed to a diet, and and you’re watching these recipe videos to get meal ideas, sticking to your chosen diet is of paramount importance. Failure to stay on your chosen path can prove detrimental. You just might find yourself starting all over again.
Building up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer is a great idea, for this very reason. So you’d want to compile videos ONLY related to raw-food veganism, if that happens to be your chosen diet plan.
The importance of this cannot be overstated.
I’ve been guilty of hopping from one diet to the next. The reason for this is actually quite simple…
You will most often have cravings for whichever foods your diet restricts, which some other eating program fully permits, and perhaps even encourages. It’s always super tempting to dabble. They say it’s healthy, after all. So it should be okay, right? And let’s not BS ourselves. Culinary videos are usually 100% seductive. 😉
Choose a lifestyle that you’re thrilled to stick with. That’s how long-term results will be achieved. At the end of the day, eating healthy foods and not going into a crazy caloric surplus may be enough to help you reach your goals.
I’m no diet or fitness guru, but I see merit in that. Put the right amounts of the right fuel into your body, and reap the rewards of a healthy body and physique. This is especially true if our activity levels are relatively high.
Clearly, this is common-sense weight loss. It probably earned its right to be!
But even if your chosen diet isn’t a low-calorie model, you may still be well-served to stick with it long-term. With some diets, macro-nutrient ratios are more important than calories consumed. These are often pretty meticulously calculated, and straying from the prescribed ratio may jeopardize your results.
Stick to the plan. Give yourself a fighting chance!
