Alright, so let’s proceed…
Diet plans clearly abound. It can be overwhelming to decide.
As such, once a particular diet has been chosen, and it’s time to start prepping weight loss meals, you want to avoid looking outside of your chosen diet for meal options. Failure to stay on your chosen path can prove detrimental. You may very well end up having to start all over.
For this reason, I suggest starting a diet-focused recipe library. If you’re going low-calorie, then compile low-calorie recipes. If you’re a low-carber, then you’ll want low-carb recipes.
It’s basic, but hugely important.
In the past, I’ve definitely hopped from one thing to the next… like crazy. Why did I do this? Only one reason…
You tend to have cravings for those foods that your current diet won’t let you consume, which a completely different eating program 100 percent allows. I mean, it’s still officially “diet food,” even if it’s not your diet… right? Besides, those “video doctors” sure do make compelling arguments. And let’s not kid ourselves. Culinary videos are oftentimes pretty darn tempting. 😉
But the thing is, for any diet plan to work effectively, you really need to stick to it. At the end of the day, eating healthy foods and not going into a crazy caloric surplus may be enough to help you reach your goals.
Makes sense when you really think about it. Control the calorie intake, eat clean, and the fat should come right off. This is especially true if our activity levels are relatively high.
No doubt that this is common-sense weight loss. As well it should be!
But even if your chosen diet isn’t a low-calorie model, you may still be well-served to stick with it long-term. Many diets put more of an emphasis on macro-nutrient ratios. And it’s generally not advised to mess around with those, if you’re trying to maximize your weight loss.
At least stick with one thing long enough to see results!
I Recommend That You Do This…
Visit the skinny recipe videos category page right here on the site. There are countless videos for you to dive into.
Then, using your browser’s bookmarking feature, begin saving the videos that you like. What I would do is compile these into an all new file folder which can be labeled “**DIET TYPE (LOW-CARB, VEGAN, PALEO, ETC)** Meal Vids,” unless there something else you like better.
Finally, be sure to get onto my newsletter for new video share updates. I will also present you with plenty of seriously powerful weight reduction tools that may make all the difference for you. Ya never know!
