There are like a million and one diet plans available to you these days. It can be overwhelming to decide.
As such, once you’ve decided on a particular diet, and it’s time to start menu planning, it’s important that you stay committed to your plan. It can really hinder your success to stray from your chosen path. You may very well wind up starting all over again.
Building up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer is a great idea, for this very reason. So you’d want to compile videos ONLY related to raw-food veganism, if that happens to be your chosen diet plan.
This is extremely important.
I only bring this up because I’ve been guilty of hopping from one plan to the next myself. The reason for this is actually quite simple…
On a low-carb diet, you tend to crave carbs. On a low-sugar diet, you crave sweets. It’s always super tempting to dabble. If the person on the screen tells you it’s healthy, you should probably eat it, yeah? And let’s tell the truth here. Food videos are often unbelievably hard to resist. 😉
Clearly, you need to stick to your chosen diet plan long enough to see results. Of course, it could be said that any diet that focuses on all-natural foods and reasonable portion sizes can be enough all on its own.
I’m no diet or fitness guru, but I see merit in that. Control the calorie intake, eat clean, and the fat should come right off. This is especially true if our activity levels are relatively high.
No doubt that this is the most popular weight loss model in existence. And it probably has that designation for a reason!
Calorie reduction isn’t the only game in town though. Many diets have more of a macro-nutrient ratio focus. And playing around too much with those may be something to steer clear of.
Keep your eye on the prize! Don’t stray.
If I Were You, I Would…
Take a look at the diet drinks videos category page right here on DietRecipeVideos. These should certainly keep you engaged and on track.
Then, ensure quick and easy future access to each of your favorite recipes by simply bookmarking them in your browser. What I would do is compile these into a new bookmarks folder bearing the name “Diet Drinks Videos,” unless another name strikes your fancy.
