Diet plans are in no short supply, my friend. If you’re like me, you’re probably overwhelmed by all of the options.
So once you’ve made your choice, and you’re looking to prepare your own tasty meals, it’s important that you stay committed to your plan. Failure to stay on your chosen path can prove detrimental. This often takes people back to the starting line.
You’d be well served, for this very reason, to build up an online library of recipes within your chosen plan. So if you’ve chosen the ketogenic diet as your weight loss method, for example, then you ONLY want those types of recipes in your library… and nothing else.
Pretty basic stuff, right?
I’ve been guilty of hopping from one diet to the next. Why did I do this? Only one reason…
On sugar-restriction, you crave sugar. On calorie-restriction, you crave calorie-dense foods. And counter-arguments can be pretty compelling. And let’s not lie to ourselves. Recipe videos are, in many instances, unbelievably difficult to resist.
But the thing is, for any diet plan to work effectively, you really need to stick to it. While each diet is completely unique in its approach, many say that healthy food and a slight caloric deficit are really all it take to help you reach your goals.
Makes sense to me. The fat should come right off if you control what and how much you eat and drink. Raising your activity levels will also prove beneficial (obviously).
No doubt that this is standard, conventional advice. As well it should be!
Not all diets are calorie restrictive though. Diets are often effective because of their macro-nutrient ratios. And playing around too much with those may be something to steer clear of.
Stick to the plan. Give yourself a fighting chance!

Then, bookmark your favorite recipe videos right in your own browser for easy access. Save them in a brand new file folder that can be named “Vegan Cooking Videos,” unless another name strikes your fancy.
