I know you might think of squash soup as only a winter food for the cold months, but why does that have to be the case?! Sometimes you can still find the butternut squash in the stores, so when you do shouldn’t you be able to make something yummy no matter the season? Exactly my thoughts on this great looking spicy dish. The spicy is really what sold it for me! Along with being vegan friendly.

Clearly, there are many diet plans in the world. It can be overwhelming to decide.
That’s why I believe that, as soon as the choice has been made, and it’s time to start menu planning, sticking to your chosen diet is of paramount importance. Straying from your original chosen plan may very well lead to failure. This often takes people back to square one.
For this reason, I suggest starting a diet-focused recipe library. If you’re going low-calorie, then compile low-calorie recipes. If you’re a low-carber, then you’ll want low-carb recipes.
Pretty basic stuff, right?
I’ve been guilty of hopping from one plan to the next myself, which is why I bring this up. The reason for this is actually quite simple…
That which one diet program won’t allow, another, seemingly equally legitimate plan fully permits. And counter-arguments can be pretty compelling. And let’s make no mistake about it… Food-based videos are often pretty irresistible. 😉
But the thing is, for any diet plan to work effectively, you really need to stick to it. Of course, it could be said that any diet that focuses on all-natural foods and reasonable portion sizes can be enough all on its own.
Makes sense. Don’t pig out all day, steer clear of prepackaged junk, and you should see some pretty powerful results. This is especially true if our activity levels are relatively high.
You’ll probably recognize this as the most popular weight loss model in existence. As well it should be!
Not all diets are calorically restrictive though. Many diets have more of a macro-nutrient ratio focus. Failure to adhere to your diet’s particular ratio may compromise your weight loss results.
Please stay the course. Your future self will thank you for it!
