I just wanted to say a few things…
Diet plans are in no short supply, my friend. If you’re like me, you’re probably overwhelmed by all of the options.
It’s for this reason that, when a particular diet has been chosen, and it’s time to start prepping weight loss meals, you only want to seek out food and drink recipes that fit within that particular diet plan. Failure to stay on your chosen path can prove detrimental. It may just bring you back to square one.
For this reason, I suggest starting a diet-focused recipe library. So if you’re going low-carb, then build up a low-carb recipe library.
I cannot overstate how important this is.
I’ve been guilty of hopping from one plan to the next myself, which is why I bring this up. The reason for this is actually quite simple…
You’ll usually develop a pretty powerful appetite for whatever your chosen diet program doesn’t let you consume, which a competing program 100% allows, and perhaps even encourages. And let’s be honest. Culinary videos are oftentimes quite will-shattering. 😉
Choose a lifestyle that you’re thrilled to stick with. That’s how long-term results will be achieved. While each diet is completely unique in its approach, many say that healthy food and a slight caloric deficit are really all it take to help you reach your goals.
Makes sense to me. Put the right amounts of the right fuel into your body, and reap the rewards of a healthy body and physique. This is especially true if our activity levels are relatively high.
This is surely conventional wisdom. It probably earned its right to be!
Of course, not all diet plans follow this model. And even if they don’t, you may want to stick with them anyway. Many diets put more of an emphasis on macro-nutrient ratios. Failure to adhere to your diet’s particular ratio may compromise your weight loss results.
Stick to the plan. Give yourself a fighting chance!
