These days, there is simply an overabundance of diet plans. It can be overwhelming to decide.

I believe that when the choice has been made, and it’s time to start menu planning, you need to adhere to your chosen diet plan. Straying from your original chosen plan may very well lead to failure. It’ll likely take you back to the very beginning.

Building up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer is a great idea, for this very reason. So you’d want to compile videos ONLY related to raw-food veganism if that happens to be your chosen diet plan.

Makes perfect sense, right?

In the past, I’ve definitely hopped from one thing to the next… like crazy. And there’s really only one reason why…

On low-sugar, you crave sugar. On low-calorie, you crave calories. It’s always super tempting to dabble. And counter-arguments can be pretty compelling. And let’s call a spade a spade… Culinary videos are, in many instances, ridiculously seductive.

But the thing is, for any diet plan to work effectively, you really need to stick to it. At the end of the day, eating healthy foods and not going into a crazy caloric surplus may be enough to help you reach your goals.

I’m no diet or fitness guru, but I see merit in that. Don’t pig out all day, steer clear of prepackaged junk, and you should see some pretty powerful results. This is especially true if our activity levels are relatively high.

No doubt that this is standard, conventional advice. There’s probably a good reason for this!

But even if your chosen diet isn’t a low-calorie model, you may still be well-served to stick with it long-term. Diets are often effective because of their macro-nutrient ratios. These are often pretty meticulously calculated, and straying from the prescribed ratio may jeopardize your results.

Stick to the plan. Give yourself a fighting chance!
