Diet plans clearly abound. Choosing one diet over another can be a daunting task.
As such, once you’ve decided on a particular diet, and it’s time to start menu planning, you only want to seek out food and drink recipes that fit within that particular diet plan. Straying from your original chosen plan may very well lead to failure. You very well may wind up needing to start over from scratch.
Building up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer is a great idea, for this very reason. So if you’re going low-carb, then build up a low-carb recipe library.
It’s basic, but hugely important.
I only bring this up because I’ve been guilty of hopping from one plan to the next myself. Why did I do this? Only one reason…
Items that one eating plan allows, and perhaps even encourages, another, seemingly equally legit eating plan is likely going to limit. It’s always super tempting to dabble. And counter-arguments can be pretty compelling. And let’s be honest here. Culinary videos are usually completely hard to resist. 😉
Clearly, you need to stick to your chosen diet plan long enough to see results. Reaching your weight loss goals may be as simple as eating natural foods and limiting your caloric intake.
Makes sense when you really think about it. Don’t pig out all day, steer clear of prepackaged junk, and you should see some pretty powerful results. Oh, and move that body of yours a little more! 😉
You’ll probably recognize this as the world’s most popular weight loss advice. As well it should be!
Of course, not all diet plans follow this model. And even if they don’t, you may want to stick with them anyway. Diets are often effective because of their macro-nutrient ratios. It could be detrimental to your results to stray from your diet’s particular ratio.
Stick to the plan. Give yourself a fighting chance!
Go to my vegan recipe videos category page on the site. There are more than enough videos to keep you interested and happy.
At this point, you can start bookmarking your favorite recipe videos in your browser. What I would do is compile these into an all new folder which can be named “**DIET TYPE (LOW-CARB, VEGAN, PALEO, ETC)** Videos,” or something else that you’ll remember.
