Clearly, there are many diet plans in the world. Choosing one diet over another can be a daunting task.
As such, the moment you’ve decided on a particular diet, and you’re looking to prepare your own tasty meals, it’s important that you stay committed to your plan. Failure to stay on your chosen path can prove detrimental. It may just take you back to the very beginning.
Building up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer is a great idea, for this very reason. So you’d want to compile videos ONLY related to raw-food veganism if that happens to be your chosen diet plan.
This is extremely important.
I’ve been guilty of hopping from one diet to the next. And I’ve done so for one simple reason…
Food and drinks that one diet plan prevents you from consuming, another, seemingly equally legitimate diet plan encourages. I mean, it’s still officially “diet food,” even if it’s not your diet… right? Besides, those “video doctors” sure do make compelling arguments. And let’s not lie to ourselves. Cooking videos can oftentimes be undeniably seductive.
Sticking to the plan long-term is perhaps the most important component of dieting. Of course, it could be said that any diet that focuses on all-natural foods and reasonable portion sizes can be enough all on its own.
If you’re honest with yourself, I’m sure you’ll see the merit in that. Put the right amounts of the right fuel into your body, and reap the rewards of a healthy body and physique. Raising your activity levels will also prove beneficial (obviously).
No doubt that this is standard, conventional advice. And it probably has that designation for a reason!
Not all diets are calorie restrictive though. Many diets have more of a macro-nutrient ratio focus. These are often pretty meticulously calculated, and straying from the prescribed ratio may jeopardize your results.
Keep your eye on the prize! Don’t stray.
