I just wanted to say a few things…
These days, there is simply an overabundance of diet plans. Choosing one diet over another can be a daunting task.
I believe that when a particular diet has been chosen, and and you’re watching these recipe videos to get meal ideas, you only want to seek out food and drink recipes that fit within that particular diet plan. Wavering could be detrimental to your weight loss success. It’ll probably have you returning to the drawing board.
For this reason, I suggest starting a diet-focused recipe library. So if you’re going low-carb, then build up a low-carb recipe library.
Pretty basic stuff, right? But it’s super important.
Hopping from one diet to the next is certainly something that I’ve done in the past. And there’s really only one reason why…
On sugar-restriction, you crave sugar. On low-calorie, you crave calories. It’s always super tempting to dabble. Besides, those “video doctors” sure do make compelling arguments. And let’s tell the truth. Recipe videos are oftentimes ridiculously tough to resist. 😉
Sticking to the plan long-term is perhaps the most important component of dieting. At the end of the day, eating healthy foods and not going into a crazy caloric surplus may be enough to help you reach your goals.
If you’re honest with yourself, I’m sure you’ll see the merit in that. Put the right amounts of the right fuel into your body, and reap the rewards of a healthy body and physique. Raising your activity levels will also prove beneficial (obviously).
You’ll probably recognize this as standard, conventional wisdom. It probably earned its right to be!
Not all diets are calorically restrictive though. Macro-nutrient ratios are a key focus of many diet plans out there. And you may not want to play around with those.
Keep your eye on the prize! Don’t stray.
Head over to my vegan videos category page right here on DietRecipeVideos. These should certainly keep you engaged and on track.
Then, bookmark your favorite recipe videos right in your own browser for easy access. What I would do is compile these into an entirely new file folder which you can name “Vegan Recipe Videos,” unless another name strikes your fancy.
