Clearly, there are many diet plans in the world. Choosing one diet over another can be a daunting task.
Therefore, the moment a particular diet has been chosen, and it’s time to start menu planning, you need to adhere to your chosen diet plan. Failure to stay on your chosen path can prove detrimental. You may find yourself needing to start over.
It’s really a good idea to build up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer or device. If you’re going low-calorie, then compile low-calorie recipes. If you’re a low-carber, then you’ll want low-carb recipes.
Know what I mean?
In the past, I’ve definitely hopped from one thing to the next… like crazy. And when I really think about it, there’s only one reason why…
You’re gonna generally develop pretty powerful cravings for whatever your current eating plan doesn’t permit, which a completely different diet system 100 percent allows. The grass always seems greener on the other side. Besides, those “video doctors” sure do make compelling arguments. And let’s be honest here. Food-based videos are oftentimes 100% will-shattering. 😉
If you expect to see lasting results, you need to stick to your chosen plan of action. Of course, it could be said that any diet that focuses on all-natural foods and reasonable portion sizes can be enough all on its own.
If you’re honest with yourself, I’m sure you’ll see the merit in that. Put the right amounts of the right fuel into your body, and reap the rewards of a healthy body and physique. This becomes even more powerful as you raise your activity levels.
This is clearly standard, conventional wisdom. It probably earned its right to be!
Of course, not all diet plans follow this model. And even if they don’t, you may want to stick with them anyway. Many diets put more of an emphasis on macro-nutrient ratios. It could be detrimental to your results to stray from your diet’s particular ratio.
At least stick with one thing long enough to see results!
