There are simply far too many potential diet plans out there. Choosing one diet over another can be a daunting task.

It’s for this reason that, once the choice has been made, and prepping healthy meals is the next step, sticking to your chosen diet is of paramount importance. It can really hinder your success to stray from your chosen path. It will take you back to the drawing board.

Building up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer is a great idea, for this very reason. So if you’re going low-carb, then build up a low-carb recipe library.

The importance of this cannot be overstated.

In the past, I’ve definitely hopped from one thing to the next… like crazy. And there’s really only one reason why…

Foods that one diet allows, an entirely different diet is likely to banish. It’s always super tempting to dabble. They say it’s healthy, after all. So it should be okay, right? And let’s tell the truth. Food-based videos are often completely irresistible. 😉

Clearly, you need to stick to your chosen diet plan long enough to see results. Calorie reduction and fresh, healthy foods and drinks are said to be the most surefire way to lose weight healthfully.

Makes sense to me. Eat clean, don’t stuff your face all the time, and the fat should come right off. This becomes even more powerful as you raise your activity levels.

It’s conventional wisdom. As well it should be!

Calorie reduction isn’t the only game in town though. With some diets, macro-nutrient ratios are more important than calories consumed. Failure to adhere to your diet’s particular ratio may compromise your weight loss results.

Keep your eye on the prize! Don’t stray.
