There are simply far too many potential diet plans out there. You may be overwhelmed with your options. I know that I get overwhelmed with mine!
For this reason, the moment you’ve committed to a diet, and and you’re watching these recipe videos to get meal ideas, you need to adhere to your chosen diet plan. A lack of focus is often to blame for weight loss failure. It’ll likely take you back to the beginning.
You’d be well served, for this very reason, to build up an online library of recipes within your chosen plan. If you’re going low-calorie, then compile low-calorie recipes. If you’re a low-carber, then you’ll want low-carb recipes.
Pretty basic stuff, right? But it’s super important.
I’ve been guilty of hopping from one plan to the next myself, which is why I bring this up. And there’s really only one reason why…
Food and drinks that one plan permits, a totally different diet plan will banish. I mean, it’s still officially “diet food,” even if it’s not your diet… right? If the person on the screen tells you it’s healthy, you should probably eat it, yeah? And let’s be honest. Cooking videos are, in many cases, 100% will-shattering. 😉
Clearly, you need to stick to your chosen diet plan long enough to see results. At the end of the day, eating healthy foods and not going into a crazy caloric surplus may be enough to help you reach your goals.
Makes sense to me. The fat should come right off if you control what and how much you eat and drink. This becomes even more powerful as you raise your activity levels.
No doubt that this is conventional weight loss advice. And this is for good reason!
Not all diets are calorically restrictive though. Macro-nutrient ratios are a key focus of many diet plans out there. Failure to adhere to your diet’s particular ratio may compromise your weight loss results.
Keep your eye on the prize! Don’t stray.

Head over to my vegan recipe videos category page here on DietRecipeVideos. There are countless videos for you to dive into.
Then, bookmark the videos that you really enjoy in your browser. What I would do is compile these into an entirely new folder that you can name “**DIET TYPE (LOW-CARB, VEGAN, PALEO, ETC)** Recipes,” or something similar.
