Vegan Fried “Chicken” Seitan Recipe
Who says you can’t eat fried chicken while following a vegan diet or lifestyle?! Seitan, (not to be confused with the horned guy Satan) makes excellent alternatives to traditional fried chicken cravings. Let me know how you like these bad babies if you attempt them. If you’re not keen on attempting it, you can usually find different flavored/seasoned seitan’s prepackaged in supermarkets.

Alright, so let’s proceed…
Diet plans clearly abound. The sheer volume of diet options is ridiculously overwhelming.
So when you’ve committed to a diet, and and you’re watching these recipe videos to get meal ideas, sticking to your chosen diet is of paramount importance. It can really hinder your success to stray from your chosen path. You just may end up in a position where you need to start all over from scratch.
Building up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer is a great idea, for this very reason. So if you’re going low-carb, then build up a low-carb recipe library.
It’s basic, but hugely important.
I’ve been guilty of hopping from one diet to the next. And when I really think about it, there’s only one reason why…
On calorie-restriction, you crave calorically-dense foods. On low-fat, you crave fat. It’s always super tempting to dabble. And counter-arguments can be pretty compelling. And let’s not BS ourselves. Recipe videos are, in many instances, pretty irresistible. ๐
Clearly, you need to stick to your chosen diet plan long enough to see results. Of course, it could be said that any diet that focuses on all-natural foods and reasonable portion sizes can be enough all on its own.
Seems pretty logical, really. Eat clean, don’t stuff your face all the time, and the fat should come right off. Raising your activity levels will also prove beneficial (obviously).
It’s the most popular weight loss model in existence. And it’s for good reason that it is!
Of course, not all diet plans follow this model. And even if they don’t, you may want to stick with them anyway. Macro-nutrient ratios are a key focus of many diet plans out there. These are often pretty meticulously calculated, and straying from the prescribed ratio may jeopardize your results.
At least stick with one thing long enough to see results!
