Another Monday, which means another week to give meatless Monday’s a try. Now I love tempeh as a vegan alternative to different meats because not only is it tasty, but it’s easy to prepare and also gluten free which I can’t say for a lot of the vegan alternative meat products. Tempeh isn’t just like meat or anything, but it is a cool sub!

Diet plans are in no short supply, my friend. The sheer volume of diet options is ridiculously overwhelming.
As such, as soon as you’ve made your choice, and and you’re watching these recipe videos to get meal ideas, you only want to seek out food and drink recipes that fit within that particular diet plan. Failure to stay on your chosen path can prove detrimental. You’re quite likely to wind up in the position of starting all over again.
It’s really a good idea to build up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer or device. So if you’ve chosen the ketogenic diet as your weight loss method, for example, then you ONLY want those types of recipes in your library… and nothing else.
I’ve been guilty of hopping from one diet to the next. The reason for this is actually quite simple…
On low-calorie, you crave calorie-rich foods. On sugar-restriction, you crave sweets. I mean, it’s still officially “diet food,” even if it’s not your diet… right? If the person on the screen tells you it’s healthy, you should probably eat it, yeah? And let’s not lie to ourselves. Food-based videos are oftentimes pretty darn tempting. 😉
But the thing is, for any diet plan to work effectively, you really need to stick to it. At the end of the day, eating healthy foods and not going into a crazy caloric surplus may be enough to help you reach your goals.
Seems like pretty responsible advice. Put the right amounts of the right fuel into your body, and reap the rewards of a healthy body and physique. This becomes even more powerful as you raise your activity levels.
No doubt that this is conventional wisdom. As well it should be!
Even still, if you’re trying to stick to a particular plan, you may want to stay the course. Many diets put more of an emphasis on macro-nutrient ratios. It could be detrimental to your results to stray from your diet’s particular ratio.
Give your chosen diet plan enough time to work for you. Then, if it doesn’t, at least you won’t have yourself to blame!
