There are simply far too many potential diet plans out there. It can be overwhelming to decide.
So as soon as you’ve made your choice, and you’re looking to prepare your own tasty meals, you need to adhere to your chosen diet plan. Wavering could be detrimental to your weight loss success. You very well may end up starting all over, from scratch.
For this reason, I suggest starting a diet-focused recipe library. So if you’ve chosen the ketogenic diet as your weight loss method, for example, then you ONLY want those types of recipes in your library… and nothing else.
Pretty basic stuff, right?
Hopping from one diet to the next is certainly something that I’ve done in the past. Why did I do this? Only one reason…
You usually crave those foods and drinks that your specific diet doesn’t allow, which a completely different plan 100% permits. It’s always super tempting to dabble. They say it’s healthy, after all. So it should be okay, right? And one thing is clear… Cooking videos can be 100 percent will-weakening. 😉
But the thing is, for any diet plan to work effectively, you really need to stick to it. Calorie reduction and fresh, healthy foods and drinks are said to be the most surefire way to lose weight healthfully.
Seems like pretty responsible advice. Put the right amounts of the right fuel into your body, and reap the rewards of a healthy body and physique. Raising your activity levels will also prove beneficial (obviously).
It’s conventional wisdom. And it probably has that designation for a reason!
Calorie reduction isn’t the only game in town though. Many diets have more of a macro-nutrient ratio focus. And it’s generally not advised to mess around with those, if you’re trying to maximize your weight loss.
Stick to the plan. Give yourself a fighting chance!
