Diet plans clearly abound. You may be overwhelmed with your options. I know that I get overwhelmed with mine!
It’s for this reason that, when you’ve made your choice, and and you’re watching these recipe videos to get meal ideas, you only want to seek out food and drink recipes that fit within that particular diet plan. Wavering could be detrimental to your weight loss success. You just may wind up starting all over.
You’d be well served, for this very reason, to build up an online library of recipes within your chosen plan. If you’re going low-calorie, then compile low-calorie recipes. If you’re a low-carber, then you’ll want low-carb recipes.
Know what I mean?
I’ve been guilty of hopping from one plan to the next myself, which is why I bring this up. And when I really think about it, there’s only one reason why…
You usually have cravings for whatever items your particular plan doesn’t let you consume, which some completely different diet system permits. It’s always super tempting to dabble. They say it’s healthy, after all. So it should be okay, right? And let’s tell the truth here. Recipe videos can be undeniably difficult to resist.
If you expect to see lasting results, you need to stick to your chosen plan of action. Reaching your weight loss goals may be as simple as eating natural foods and limiting your caloric intake.
Makes sense. Control the calorie intake, eat clean, and the fat should come right off. This becomes even more powerful as you raise your activity levels.
It’s conventional wisdom. As well it should be!
Calorie reduction isn’t the only game in town though. Many diets have more of a macro-nutrient ratio focus. And playing around too much with those may be something to steer clear of.
Keep your eye on the prize! Don’t stray.
