So listen…
There are simply far too many potential diet plans out there. It can be overwhelming to decide.
I believe that when you’ve made your choice, and you’re looking to prepare your own tasty meals, you only want to seek out food and drink recipes that fit within that particular diet plan. Failure to stay on your chosen path can prove detrimental. It will bring you back to the beginning.
You’d be well served, for this very reason, to build up an online library of recipes within your chosen plan. So if you’re going low-carb, then build up a low-carb recipe library.
Make sense?
I only bring this up because I’ve been guilty of hopping from one plan to the next myself. And I’ve done so for one simply reason…
On a low-calorie diet, you tend to crave calorie-rich foods. On a low-sugar diet, you crave sweets. The grass always seems greener on the other side. They say it’s healthy, after all. So it should be okay, right? And let’s tell the truth. Food-based videos are oftentimes ridiculously hard to resist. π
If you expect to see lasting results, you need to stick to your chosen plan of action. Reaching your weight loss goals may be as simple as eating natural foods and limiting your caloric intake.
Seems pretty logical, really. Put the right amounts of the right fuel into your body, and reap the rewards of a healthy body and physique. This is especially true if our activity levels are relatively high.
This, of course, is conventional weight loss advice. As well it should be!
But even if your chosen diet isn’t a low-calorie model, you may still be well-served to stick with it long-term. Many diets put more of an emphasis on macro-nutrient ratios. These are often pretty meticulously calculated, and straying from the prescribed ratio may jeopardize your results.
Keep your eye on the prize! Don’t stray.
Here’s My Recommendation…
Head on over to my vegan videos category page right here on DietRecipeVideos. There are more than enough videos to keep you interested and happy.
At this point, you can start bookmarking your favorite recipe videos in your browser. What I would do is compile these into an entirely new bookmarks folder that you can label “**DIET TYPE (LOW-CARB, VEGAN, PALEO, ETC)** Videos,” or something else that you’ll remember.
And if you haven’t already, get yourself on my newsletter ASAP so that you’re always kept up-to-date on new videos I feature on this site. You’ll also receive tons of pretty great diet content that may just lead you to new levels of success that you didn’t expect!
