There are simply far too many potential diet plans out there. Choosing one diet over another can be a daunting task.
Therefore, when the choice has been made, and it’s time to start prepping weight loss meals, you want to avoid looking outside of your chosen diet for meal options. Failure to stay on your chosen path can prove detrimental. You just may end up back at the drawing board.
Building up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer is a great idea, for this very reason. So you’d want to compile videos ONLY related to raw-food veganism, if that happens to be your chosen diet plan.
This is extremely important.
In the past, I’ve definitely hopped from one thing to the next… like crazy. Why did I do this? Only one reason…
You generally tend to develop pretty powerful cravings for whichever items your particular diet plan forbids you to consume, which another protocol fully allows. It’s always super tempting to dabble. They say it’s healthy, after all. So it should be okay, right? And let’s not kid ourselves. Cooking videos can oftentimes be pretty hard to resist. 😉
Sticking to the plan long-term is perhaps the most important component of dieting. Of course, it could be said that any diet that focuses on all-natural foods and reasonable portion sizes can be enough all on its own.
If you’re honest with yourself, I’m sure you’ll see the merit in that. Don’t pig out all day, steer clear of prepackaged junk, and you should see some pretty powerful results. This is especially true if our activity levels are relatively high.
You’ll probably recognize this as standard, conventional wisdom. It probably earned its right to be!
But even if your chosen diet isn’t a low-calorie model, you may still be well-served to stick with it long-term. Many diets have more of a macro-nutrient ratio focus. And you may not want to play around with those.
Please stay the course. Your future self will thank you for it!
