Have you ever thought about dehydrating mushrooms? I’ve tried mushroom jerky before (very good!), and the other day I was at a vegetarian restaurant who featured mushroom bacon on their menu. I had to try it, and I’m so glad I did because it was GREAT. I ended up talking with my waiter who told me how easy it was to make this vegan styled bacon. Now I urge you all to try and make it yourself!

Diet plans clearly abound. If you’re like me, you’re probably overwhelmed by all of the options.
So as soon as the choice has been made, and it’s time to start prepping weight loss meals, you want to avoid looking outside of your chosen diet for meal options. A lack of focus is often to blame for weight loss failure. You’re quite likely to end up back at the beginning of your journey.
Building up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer is a great idea, for this very reason. So you’d want to compile videos ONLY related to raw-food veganism, if that happens to be your chosen diet plan.
I cannot overstate how important this is.
I’ve been guilty of hopping from one plan to the next myself, which is why I bring this up. Why did I do this? Only one reason…
Food and beverages that one diet plan won’t allow, an entirely different diet allows, and perhaps even encourages. I mean, it’s still officially “diet food,” even if it’s not your diet… right? They say it’s healthy, after all. So it should be okay, right? And one thing is clear… Recipe videos are, in many cases, 100 percent tempting. 😉
If you expect to see lasting results, you need to stick to your chosen plan of action. While each diet is completely unique in its approach, many say that healthy food and a slight caloric deficit are really all it take to help you reach your goals.
Seems pretty logical, really. Don’t pig out all day, steer clear of prepackaged junk, and you should see some pretty powerful results. Add some exercise into the mix and look out!
You’ll probably recognize this as standard, conventional advice. And this is for good reason!
Calorie reduction isn’t the only game in town though. With some diets, macro-nutrient ratios are more important than calories consumed. And playing around too much with those may be something to steer clear of.
Keep your eye on the prize! Don’t stray.
