Okay, here’s the story…
These days, there is simply an overabundance of diet plans. You may be overwhelmed with your options. I know that I get overwhelmed with mine!
I believe that when you’ve decided on a particular diet, and you’re looking to prepare your own tasty meals, you want to avoid looking outside of your chosen diet for meal options. A lack of focus is often to blame for weight loss failure. You may very well wind up in the frustrating position of starting all over from scratch.
It’s really a good idea to build up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer or device. So if you’re going low-carb, then build up a low-carb recipe library.
I cannot overstate how important this is.
Hopping from one diet to the next is certainly something that I’ve done in the past. And when I really think about it, there’s only one reason why…
What one program allows, and perhaps even encourages, a totally different program is likely gonna deprive you of. The grass always seems greener on the other side. If the person on the screen tells you it’s healthy, you should probably eat it, yeah? And let’s not BS ourselves. Food-based videos are often 100 percent difficult to resist. 😉
But the thing is, for any diet plan to work effectively, you really need to stick to it. Of course, it could be said that any diet that focuses on all-natural foods and reasonable portion sizes can be enough all on its own.
Makes sense to me. Eat clean, don’t stuff your face all the time, and the fat should come right off. Add some exercise into the mix and look out!
This, of course, is the world’s most popular weight loss advice. As well it should be!
Not all diets are calorically restrictive though. Macro-nutrient ratios are a key focus of many diet plans out there. And it’s generally not advised to mess around with those, if you’re trying to maximize your weight loss.
Give your chosen diet plan enough time to work for you. Then, if it doesn’t, at least you won’t have yourself to blame!
