Here’s where you want to go…
There are obviously many diet plans in the world. The sheer volume of diet options is ridiculously overwhelming.
So when the choice has been made, and it’s time to start menu planning, you only want to seek out food and drink recipes that fit within that particular diet plan. Failure to stay on your chosen path can prove detrimental. It’ll probably have you returning to the beginning.
This is why you definitely want to compile a small library of recipes that fit within your particular diet plan. So if you’re going low-carb, then build up a low-carb recipe library.
Know what I mean?
Hopping from one diet to the next is certainly something that I’ve done in the past. The reason for this is actually quite simple…
You generally develop a pretty powerful appetite for whatever items your particular program won’t let you consume, which another eating protocol allows, and perhaps even encourages. They say it’s healthy, after all. So it should be okay, right? And let’s not kid ourselves. Food videos are, in many instances, unbelievably tempting. 😉
Clearly, you need to stick to your chosen diet plan long enough to see results. Of course, it could be said that any diet that focuses on all-natural foods and reasonable portion sizes can be enough all on its own.
I’m no diet or fitness guru, but I see merit in that. The fat should come right off if you control what and how much you eat and drink. This is especially true if our activity levels are relatively high.
This is clearly the world’s most popular weight loss advice. There’s probably good reason for this!
Not all diets are calorically restrictive though. Diets are often effective because of their macro-nutrient ratios. It could be detrimental to your results to stray from your diet’s particular ratio.
At least stick with one thing long enough to see results!
