I just wanted to say a few things…
These days, there is simply an overabundance of diet plans. Choosing one diet over another can be a daunting task.
Therefore, the moment you’ve made your choice, and and you’re watching these recipe videos to get meal ideas, it’s important that you stay committed to your plan. A lack of focus is often to blame for weight loss failure. You very well may wind up in the frustrating position of starting all over from scratch.
This is why you definitely want to compile a small library of recipes that fit within your particular diet plan. So if you’re going low-carb, then build up a low-carb recipe library.
I only bring this up because I’ve been guilty of hopping from one plan to the next myself. And I’ve done so for one simply reason…
Food and beverages that one plan doesn’t allow you to consume, a totally different diet 100% permits. The grass always seems greener on the other side. They say it’s healthy, after all. So it should be okay, right? And let’s tell the truth. Food videos are usually pretty damned seductive. 😉
Sticking to the plan long-term is perhaps the most important component of dieting. While each diet is completely unique in its approach, many say that healthy food and a slight caloric deficit are really all it take to help you reach your goals.
At the end of the day, it makes sense. Eat clean, don’t stuff your face all the time, and the fat should come right off. This is especially true if our activity levels are relatively high.
You’ll probably recognize this as standard, conventional wisdom. And it’s for good reason that it is!
Even still, if you’re trying to stick to a particular plan, you may want to stay the course. Macro-nutrient ratios are a key focus of many diet plans out there. And you may not want to play around with those.
At least stick with one thing long enough to see results!
Try Doing This…
Visit the vegetarian recipes category page here on DietRecipeVideos. There are more than enough videos to keep you interested and happy.
Then, using your browser’s bookmarking feature, begin saving the videos that you like. What I would do is compile these into a brand new file folder with the name “Vegetarian Meal Vids,” unless there’s another name you like more.
