I just wanted to say a few things…
Diet plans are in no short supply, my friend. It can be overwhelming to decide.
I believe that the moment a particular diet has been chosen, and and you’re watching these recipe videos to get meal ideas, sticking to your chosen diet is of paramount importance. A lack of focus is often to blame for weight loss failure. It’ll probably have you returning to the very beginning.
You’d be well served, for this very reason, to build up an online library of recipes within your chosen plan. So if you’re going low-carb, then build up a low-carb recipe library.
Does this make sense?
I only bring this up because I’ve been guilty of hopping from one plan to the next myself. And there’s really only one reason why…
Menu items that one diet plan deprives you of, another, seemingly equally legit program 100 percent permits. The grass always seems greener on the other side. If the person on the screen tells you it’s healthy, you should probably eat it, yeah? And let’s be honest. Culinary videos are, in many cases, ridiculously tough to resist. 😉
Choose a lifestyle that you’re thrilled to stick with. That’s how long-term results will be achieved. Reaching your weight loss goals may be as simple as eating natural foods and limiting your caloric intake.
If you’re honest with yourself, I’m sure you’ll see the merit in that. Control the calorie intake, eat clean, and the fat should come right off. This becomes even more powerful as you raise your activity levels.
This is standard, conventional wisdom. As well it should be!
Not all diets are calorically restrictive though. Diets are often effective because of their macro-nutrient ratios. Failure to adhere to your diet’s particular ratio may compromise your weight loss results.
At least stick with one thing long enough to see results!
