I LOVE curry but a lot of the time recipes call for long prep and cooking times, which usually means i don’t end up making it haha. I was attracted to this video because it’s a delish curry in only 15 minutes, and that is totally more reasonable for me. Super versatile and flavorful! Okay, here’s the story…
There are simply far too many potential diet plans out there. You may be overwhelmed with your options. I know that I get overwhelmed with mine!
For this reason, once you’ve decided on a particular diet, and it’s time to start prepping weight loss meals, it’s important that you stay committed to your plan. Failure to stay on your chosen path can prove detrimental. You’re likely to find yourself in the frustrating position of having to start all over again.
Building up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer is a great idea, for this very reason. So if you’re going low-carb, then build up a low-carb recipe library.
Know what I mean?
I’ve been guilty of hopping from one plan to the next myself, which is why I bring this up. The reason for this is actually quite simple…
On a low-sugar diet, you crave sweets. On low-calorie, you crave calories. And counter-arguments can be pretty compelling. And let’s be honest. Culinary videos are, in many instances, 100% irresistible. 😉
Sticking to the plan long-term is perhaps the most important component of dieting. Calorie reduction and fresh, healthy foods and drinks are said to be the most surefire way to lose weight healthfully.
Makes sense when you really think about it. Don’t pig out all day, steer clear of prepackaged junk, and you should see some pretty powerful results. This becomes even more powerful as you raise your activity levels.
This, of course, is standard, conventional wisdom. And it probably has that designation for a reason!
But even if your chosen diet isn’t a low-calorie model, you may still be well-served to stick with it long-term. Diets are often effective because of their macro-nutrient ratios. It could be detrimental to your results to stray from your diet’s particular ratio.
Please stay the course. Your future self will thank you for it!
