My daughters keep telling me ramen is the newest food craze. I don’t personally get the appeal, but they both told you me all might. Anyway this spicy and rich vegetarian ramen recipe made with soy milk and vegetarian dashi. This ramen broth is super rich and milky, and it just might trick you thinking it’s Tonkotsu broth!

Here’s the story…
Diet plans are in no short supply, my friend. You may be overwhelmed with your options. I know that I get overwhelmed with mine!
I believe that when a particular diet has been chosen, and and you’re watching these recipe videos to get meal ideas, you want to avoid looking outside of your chosen diet for meal options. Straying from your original chosen plan may very well lead to failure. You may wind up starting all over again.
You’d be well served, for this very reason, to build up an online library of recipes within your chosen plan. So if you’re going low-carb, then build up a low-carb recipe library.
Makes perfect sense, right?
Hopping from one diet to the next is certainly something that I’ve done in the past. And when I really think about it, there’s only one reason why…
On sugar-restriction, you crave sugar. On low-calorie, you crave calorie-rich foods. Besides, those “video doctors” sure do make compelling arguments. And let’s not lie to ourselves. Meal prep videos are, in many cases, pretty seductive. 😉
Choose a lifestyle that you’re thrilled to stick with. That’s how long-term results will be achieved. Reaching your weight loss goals may be as simple as eating natural foods and limiting your caloric intake.
I’m no diet or fitness guru, but I see merit in that. Don’t pig out all day, steer clear of prepackaged junk, and you should see some pretty powerful results. Oh, and move that body of yours a little more! 😉
No doubt that this is standard, conventional advice. It probably earned its right to be!
Of course, not all diet plans follow this model. And even if they don’t, you may want to stick with them anyway. Diets are often effective because of their macro-nutrient ratios. These are often pretty meticulously calculated, and straying from the prescribed ratio may jeopardize your results.
Stick to the plan. Give yourself a fighting chance!
