Diet plans clearly abound. Choosing one diet over another can be a daunting task.
As such, as soon as you’ve decided on a particular diet, and prepping healthy meals is the next step, you need to adhere to your chosen diet plan. It can really hinder your success to stray from your chosen path. You may just find yourself needing to start over.
It’s really a good idea to build up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer or device. If you’re going low-calorie, then compile low-calorie recipes. If you’re a low-carber, then you’ll want low-carb recipes.
Pretty basic stuff, right? But it’s super important.
I’ve been guilty of hopping from one diet to the next. Why did I do this? Only one reason…
You’re going to typically crave whatever items your chosen diet program won’t allow you to consume, which some entirely different diet program 100% allows. It’s always super tempting to dabble. And counter-arguments can be pretty compelling. And let’s be honest here. Cooking videos are oftentimes ridiculously will-weakening. 😉
If you expect to see lasting results, you need to stick to your chosen plan of action. At the end of the day, eating healthy foods and not going into a crazy caloric surplus may be enough to help you reach your goals.
I’m no diet or fitness guru, but I see merit in that. Don’t pig out all day, steer clear of prepackaged junk, and you should see some pretty powerful results. Raising your activity levels will also prove beneficial (obviously).
No doubt that this is conventional wisdom. It probably earned its right to be!
Even still, if you’re trying to stick to a particular plan, you may want to stay the course. With some diets, macro-nutrient ratios are more important than calories consumed. And it’s generally not advised to mess around with those, if you’re trying to maximize your weight loss.
Give your chosen diet plan enough time to work for you. Then, if it doesn’t, at least you won’t have yourself to blame!

After that, go ahead and start bookmarking the videos that you like in your browser. Compile these bookmarks into a new bookmarks folder that you can label “Vegetarian Meal Vids,” unless there’s another name you like more.
