My daughter is really big into cleansing, and so she asked me to try and find some good recipe videos on different types of cleansing drinks. I love this one because of the health benefits of both watermelon and ginger. This is a great recipe to have first thing in the morning to help cleanse and detox your body from toxins.

There are simply far too many potential diet plans out there. If you’re like me, you’re probably overwhelmed by all of the options.
It’s for this reason that, once you’ve made your choice, and prepping healthy meals is the next step, it’s important that you stay committed to your plan. Straying from your original chosen plan may very well lead to failure. It’ll probably return you to square one.
You’d be well served, for this very reason, to build up an online library of recipes within your chosen plan. If you’re going low-calorie, then compile low-calorie recipes. If you’re a low-carber, then you’ll want low-carb recipes.
The importance of this cannot be overstated.
I’ve been guilty of hopping from one plan to the next myself, which is why I bring this up. And when I really think about it, there’s only one reason why…
On a low-fat diet, you crave fat. On calorie-restriction, you crave calorically-dense foods. The grass always seems greener on the other side. If the person on the screen tells you it’s healthy, you should probably eat it, yeah? And let’s not BS ourselves. Food videos are usually 100 percent will-weakening. 😉
If you expect to see lasting results, you need to stick to your chosen plan of action. While each diet is completely unique in its approach, many say that healthy food and a slight caloric deficit are really all it take to help you reach your goals.
Makes sense when you really think about it. Put the right amounts of the right fuel into your body, and reap the rewards of a healthy body and physique. Oh, and move that body of yours a little more! 😉
This is clearly conventional wisdom. There’s probably good reason for this!
But even if your chosen diet isn’t a low-calorie model, you may still be well-served to stick with it long-term. Diets are often effective because of their macro-nutrient ratios. It could be detrimental to your results to stray from your diet’s particular ratio.
Stick to the plan. Give yourself a fighting chance!
